Warner Brothers have released a new trailer for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. WB chose to release its first trailer on Facebook, and the follow up trailer debuted on iTunes.

The Hobbit was designed as two films but Jackson has announced that it would become a trilogy. The Hobbit follows Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he goes on a quest to find the treasure guarded by the dragon Smaug.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters in 3D, 2D and IMAX on Dec. 14. Watch the trailer below:
