Just when you thought the story of Hansel and Gretel couldn't get any more punked up. This one here is badass. But of course, the original story from Brothers Grimm was way dark to start with.

The film, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters takes an even darker and more odd plunge because now Hansel and Gretel have all grown up and they are fighting back. Witch hunting!

15 years after the blind witch lured Hansel and Gretel into her candy coated house, the duo played by Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton grow up to be bounty hunters that track and kill witches seeking revenge for the trauma they endured as kids.

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters was set to release in March 2012, but was pushed back until January 2013.
