Turns out, Joss Whedon shot a whole different opening to The Avengers and it starts with a debriefing of one very pissed off Maria Hill played by Cobie Smulder. The scene demonstrates just how fractured the relationship is with Nick Fury and Hill which anyway points to just how much goodies there's going to be in the DVD.
