How do you sell a secluded mansion? One woman, trying to sell her's in Malibu listed it on Realtor.com, but if your property isn't in the city, or anywhere familiar to most people, then just listing it won't be able to do the trick.

Interior designer DeeAnna Staats did something different. She hired a professional Hollywood crew to stage a big budget production and film a thriller called The Spider and the Fly.

Staats bought her property for $6.6 million in 2006. After renovation, the home's list price was $35 million. Sounds great right? Except that its pretty damn far away. It's got a working kitchen, home theater, opulent finishes, wine cellar and stunning views. As to how much she paid for the production. Wired estimates that it likely cost in the high six-figures or more.

Will she be successful pretty soon? With that kind of effort, we sure hope so.
