It's been a while since we've seen Joaquin Phoenix on the big screen. Following his (staged?) meltdown in 2010, the actor is back and starring alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman in a new film titled "The Master" which is slated to release on October 12th.
Directed by P.T. Anderson, the film supposedly references the early days of L. Ron Hubbard before he established the controversial Scientology cult. Check out the trailer below:
