Looks like Bradley Cooper is ready to breakaway from his Hangover persona. Check out his performance in the trailer debut for The Words, where he plays a semi-talented writer who gains literary fame from stealing another writer's (Jeremy Irons) haunting memories. Judging by the clip, we can expect some Inception-style twists to this plot:



Besides Cooper and Irons, the film also stars Zoe Saldana (who at one point was romantically linked to Cooper) as the larcenous author's wife. Dennis Quaid and Olivia Wilde also have supporting roles. The Words hits theaters on September 21st.
