The first thing that hits you when watching this trailer for Gangster Squad has to be the various growls and old-fashioned tough-guy voices. The story follows a group of cops working outside the system to run New York mobsters out of Los Angeles, so expect a lot of smashing, burning, and shooting at things.



Gangster Squad also stars Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Michael Peña, Anthony Mackie, Nick Nolte, Robert Patrick and Emma Stone. Releases October 19th.
